ABOUT THE BAND
Billing themselves as a "Tribute to Woodstock", Retro69 has had the opportunity to perform its show in the same order of the original 1969 festival, running from Havens through Hendrix. They have "recreated Woodstock" annually at Yasgur's' Farm in Bethel NY, Kennedy Park and the Library in Long Beach, Virgil's BBQ , Fire Island, Hippy Park (Seacliff) , and many indoor venues. The goal is to be able to play as many as possible of the 350 plus songs from the actual festival, in arrangements as similar to the original;

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE
How many millennials know all the words to 200 songs from Woodstock? When Allan first met Melissa, he was floored to hear how close she sounded to Joan Baaz; but when a 25 year old lives and breaths the music like its 1969 you know its coming from the heart.
Our band covers almost every artist from Woodstock, but also focuses on some of the less known acts that deserve the same respect and airplay such as Sweetwater, Bert Sommer, Quill and Keef Hartley.
